Luxury Home Digest a Winner (and in good company!)
2008-01-02 05:27:00 by Roberta Murphy Last night?s annual New Year?s Eve bash at the Murphy home was lots of fun for all, and almost everyone was ready to drop kick 2007 out the door and welcome the promise of 2008 with open arms. You' d better be in good company
2007-12-14 20:13:00 You?d better be in good company! Whenever you have the chance to travel somewhere, you think, first of all, about where you want to go; and almost immediately, you think with whom. However, there are people who get a headache from only having to choose a traveling partner and are clueless about who to choose. Sometimes we think about the ideal place based on the person who we always wanted to travel with, but other times it is the other way around, you look for a suitable partner for the place you?ve already chosen. Well, you have to be prepared, if you don?t take into account certain important details you might regret having chosen that person, who can even spoil your travel. You will probably disagree with him/her on what to do, you both may not have the same pace and so you have to be always waiting for him/her or hurrying him/her up, well?let?s not dig up that much into what may happen, on the contrary, in order to avoid all these issues let?s mention some prospects to bear in...

Goodbye All Over Again
2007-09-19 10:20:00 Looking at these pictures, it sure seems that way. But it's great that I finally have them. ^.^ For those who are/have been away for a long time, get a good look at these pictures and try and spot the changes in everyone. Enjoy! The last supper at Little Italy. The disappointing thing is, there are several other people who should have been in this picture... [You know who you are]) Anyway, many thanks to those who managed to turn up that night to show your *love* [muahaha] for my brother. The others who made it that night but are missing from this picture is Rodney & Alex.Dinner's all on that guy!!! Haha... One of the waiters actually commented that we seemed a happy bunch even though it was a farewell dinner, to which someone replied, "Good riddance!", which got the whole table laughing. From the left:- Abraham, Hannah, Lionel, Abel [well, this is where he would be if he was in this picture], Ian, Eric, Joy, Tiffany, Kat, Imelda, & Rex.The farewell crew for Lionel at the airport. ...

In Good Company
2007-07-30 05:23:00 "Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company." -George Washington, First U.S. President, George Washington booksGood people bring out the best in others, and when you're at your best it is certain that your actions will enhance your reputation. The problem is that so many people hate to be alone, so they associate with whomever will accept them into their group or clique. You see this at school, work, the community center and, unfortunately, within political and religious organizations. Washington closely guarded his reputation, and historians describe him as a man who was comfortable in his own skin. His fortitude is not so easy to come by, though, in a world that celebrates the debauchery of the "in crowd" and their lack of scrupulous behavior. Responsible actions by responsible people may be out of fashion in the 21st Century; however, I've got to believe that a good reputation is worth more than travell... |
