Indiatimes changes and how
2007-05-01 08:36:00
if Delhi traffic rules could change, Courts decision on mumbai's dance bar could change, google personalised page could change to igoogle...then why not indiatimes? we have all know this site for long, we have all had our first or second email Id on this site...most of us have bashed this site for the insane number of pop-ups while some of us have even loved it for its drama, the chaos around it and the photos on the elderly homepage ;) (though the focus was never the female audience)   &nbs-p;     -;   Now we see it in its newer, whiter, cleaner avatar, however the look still remains quite close to what it was before...id say its just better alligned and better organised! thankfully, the text on the site no longer looks like ants on a A3 sheet, the font size is uniform (we were always taught those are basic while we practiced writing in school :P) and they have colours! (unlike before when the colours were forced on the user to b...

Indiatimes.com is launching Indiatimes Art (http://art.indiatimes.com) that will act as a virtual platform showcasing works of Indian artists for potential buyers. It will also offer online art advice on how to go about investing in the field. Indiatimes Art has partnered with several top galleries and constituted a panel of experts that will guide the portal in the selection of art works, recognise and nurture fresh talent. This panel will interact with visitors to the site who have a query or an opinion on a work of art or any art-related subject. The panel consists of eminent members of the art fraternity including Keshav Malik, Rameshwar Broota, Gopi Gajwani, Anjolie Ela Menon, Rajiv Lochan, Niren Sen Gupta and Dr Saryu Doshi. More on this can be read hereThis is an interesting foray by indiatimes. Auctions that was started by ebay in the US started with items that were rare (art being one of them). As of now the indiatimes site is not live so we do not know whether the work of ...
