2008-04-07 14:35:00 Wah, ini bulan terakhir saya menggunakan Quasarnet [maaf, gak sy kasih link :P]. Habisnya saya kecewa dengan jaringan XL yang lemotnya minta ampun. Bukan hanya lemot, tapi juga network coverage yang sangat terbatas.Kebetulan saya menggunakan modem UMTS/3G Vodafone, selain Nokia 6120c yang menjadi andalan untuk koneksi HSDPA. Dulu 'dibela-belain' membeli handphone ini buat koneksi 3.5G, tapi lebih sering menggunakan modem PCMCIA Vodafone. Tega rasanya mengorbankan handphone sebagai modem :)Lanjut cerita, XL-Quasar yang dulu saya gunakan tinggal kenangan. Pada paket pembelian produk ini ada tulisan 'Bisa Internet di Mana Saja', katanya yang penting ada coverage XL.Berbicara soal network 3G/GPRS XL, terus terang tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Kalau 3G adanya di kota-kota besar, memang masih wajar. 2007-09-18 04:47:00 PT Indosat, Indonesia's second- biggest phone operator, will borrow 2 trillion rupiah ($213 million) from a local bank to fund its network expansion plan, Finance Director Wong Heang Tuck said.The Jakarta-based company plans to sign the five-year loan agreement with PT Bank Mandiri, Indonesia's biggest lender by assets, in Jakarta today, Wong said in a mobile-phone text message last night. He didn't elaborate.Indosat will use the money to improve capacity, including the addition of 2,118 mobile-phone towers this year, bringing the total to 8,366.
