Salomon Kalou scored twice to fire Ivory Coast into the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup with a convincing win against Guinea. Abdelkader Keita sent the Elephants on their way in the 25th minute but the west African side had to wait until the 70th minute before they added a second, through Didier Drogba. After that the floodgates opened with Kalou scoring two tap-ins and substitute Bakari Kone smashing in a fantastic strike in the last 17 minutes.Guinea have now gone out at the quarter-final stage in the last three tournaments, but they matched their opponents for much of the game.
