2008-02-08 17:02:00 Backing a sure loser is a certain way to marginalize oneself and one's movement. Dobson criticized McCain for his support of embryonic stem cell research, his opposition to a federal anti-gay marriage amendment and for his temper and use of foul language. He said he’d sit out the presidential election if McCain were the nominee. Stem cells is an old argument, but if he feels that strongly, OK. I don't support a pro-opposite sex marriage amendment because there's no way it would pass and it shouldn't be necessary. It's properly a state matter.
