2008-02-14 03:48:00 La Porte, Texas (The Weekly Vice) - Emily Kate Janes, a 23 year old teacher at Deer Park High School has been charged with having an improper relationship with a teenage student.Janes, who is a married resident of La Porte, had several 'trysts' at Janes' home according to Harris County District Attorney Denise Oncken.Prosecutors say Janes and the 18 year old boy had a sexual relationship for about a month, beginning late in December, 2007. Investigators became aware of the relationship when they received an anonymous tip.Janes resigned her teaching position at the school on Monday according to Matt Lucas, a spokesperson for the school. He also noted that it was her first teaching job.The charge of having an improper sexual relationship is a second-degree felony. Today I clicked on berry patents and found these gorgeous Anne Klein ?Willa? Mary Janes, US$79, in relish. The footbed is slightly cushioned and the patent is deep and shiny. The heel has a nice little curve and they?re also available in bronze and black, but I think 'relish' is the best colour and makes the whole shoe looks very classy.

There is a pretty rounded peep toe (quickly becoming an essential detail for me) and the heel is super slim and curvy and will make any pair of legs look fantastic. I adore the leather strap and decorative buckle and would love to get my hands (or should that be feet?) on a pair of these.

2007-06-27 12:00:00 500 second exposure. a rather funny (or annoying, depending on one's mood, i happened to be in a good one, so i found it funny) thing happened prior to taking this photo.. Got up at 2 am, drove for an hour, and then clambered over a wide stretch of large boulders to reach the spot i had in mind for the picture. The water level was at least 2 if not 3 meters below the rocky outcrop i was standing on, and it was pretty much calm. Just as im thinking "hmm. i wonder why the rocks are so wet right here?" a big wave crashes against the cliff and im doused with seawater from head to toe.. literally. Um. very refreshing. (just glad i hadnt set up the camera right there.. that would've been disastrous) First time i've had to complete a photoshoot dripping wet.. well, the sea breeze dried me off by the time i was done 40 minutes later, but warm and cozy it wasnt. too bad no one was around to document the moment i was splashed.. would have been a fine addition to this set...
