Vale que como todo el mundo he oido hablar de el, y a quienes hablan de el, de forma foribunda, pero sin llegar a sentir nunca la curiosidad de llevarme a la boca algo suyo. Y es que el rollo superguitarrista no me va. Pero después de haber leido algunas cositas por ahí un dia me picó el gusanillo y decidí buscar algo suyo, y creo que acerté con el disco de iniciación. Lo que me gusta de este disco es que siendo la guitarra la base fundamental, este tipo no hace grandes alardes de macarrismo instrumental, dandose la licencia de experimentar en algunos temas como "What Mama Said" (del que me he enamorado perdidamente) o "Psycho Sam", pero siempre sobre orientado y sobre premisas blusisticas. After Rod Stewart left the Jeff Beck Group in 1971, Beck never worked with a charismatic lead singer who could have helped sell his music to a wide audience. Furthermore, he was simply too idiosyncratic, moving from heavy metal to jazz fusion within a blink of an eye. As his career progressed, he became more fascinated by automobiles than guitars, releasing only one album during the course of the '90s.
