Also among the top lots in the sale was the 1915 Cracker Jack Baseball Card Complete Set of (176) In Original Cracker Jack Album, which sold to applause for $157,000 (est. $50/75,000).

2007-10-31 07:10:00 Joe Jackson will release his first album in five years, Rain, on January 29 via Rykodisc. Playing on the album are bassist Graham Moby and drummer Dave Houghton, two of the three other members of Jackson's original band.The album was made at Planet Roc Studios in Berlin, Germany. The group will tour in support of the album early next year.Otis Williams of the Temptations is suing three other former members of the group claiming that he is the only one allowed to use the group name.Named in the suit are Glenn Leonard, Ali Woodson and Barrington Henderson who have been performing under the names Legendary Lead Singers of the Temptations and The Temptations Reunion Show.Barbra Streisand will attend a private party for the grand opening of the new Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. Earth, Wind and Fire will be the featured entertainment.
