On a recent flight, the FBI had to be called to investigate a “verbal altercation” between John Stamos and an unidentified woman. The lady woke up John Stamos on the flight, and wouldn’t quit. The woman then persisted in trying to get the actor’s attention after he told her he wanted to sleep. Then, when he got up to use the restroom, she informed him she would wait in his seat until he returned. After Stamos got back to his seat, the woman persisted in trying to chat with him, refusing flight attendants’ urging to go back to her own first-class seat and repeatedly tapping Stamos on the hand. The woman reportedly shook Stamos awake while he was sleeping in first class, took his seat and would not give it back when he went to the restroom, and eventually hit the ER actor several times in the hand, a source tells Access Hollywood. The woman, who was not identified, then allegedly began screaming and threatening Stamos. Airline personnel called the FBI when the plane landed, according to KNBC-TV in L.A., which first reported the story. Laura Eimiller, an FBI spokeswoman, said: “We responded to a verbal altercation on a United flight, but no arrests were made, no charges filed, so no further information will be released.” Stamos’s rep was unavailable for comment.
