The theme may be espionage, and the writing may lean that way, but underlying that is solid surfability. However, unlike Atlanta sci-fi geeks Man or Astroman?, the Saraland, AL outfit of Jonny and the Shamen contains a heavy riffage of surf and hi-tech secret agent gadgetry. Survivor Pearl Island contestant Jonny Fairplay had an encounter with Danny Bonaduce at the Fox Reality Really Channel Awards. After the crowd starting booing Jonny Fairplay, Bonaduce came out on stage and said “They’re booing ’cause they hate you”. Fairplay responded, “That’s a good thing, right?”. Bonaduce began walking off the stage, as Fairplay called after him. Fairplay jumped onto Bonaduce who after a supporting Fairplay’s weight for a few seconds, flip throws Fairplay, landing on his face, knocking one tooth out and flatting three others. According to TMZ, the Breaking Bonaduce star hopped on-stage at the FOX Reality Channel Really Awards, picked up notorious Survivor contestant Jonny Fairplay (who is having a baby with America’s Next Top Model reject Michelle, natch) and slammed the guy on his face, leaving him bloodied and toothless. Fairplay was hauled off to the hospital in an ambulance, while Bonaduce went on Adam Carolla’s radio show this morning to explain that he’s always been bugged by Fairplay (who lied on Survivor to win sympathy), so he had no problem stepping on-stage to inform Fairplay that the crowd was booing him. Fairplay jumped into Bonaduce’s arms and then the Bonaduce beatdown occured. Danny should probably save his “testimony” for a judge, seeing as he’s now the suspect in a “felony battery report.” Reality sure is sweet!
