He has already pled guilty to the charges, but this hearing is the penalty part of the trial, and the government is seeking the death penalty.He has already plea-bargained for life without parole in state court, but has not yet been sentenced. I don't know any of the principals in this case, but Thrillseekerman knows Steve Groene. He went to elementary school with Steve Groene and his brother, Chris Groene.
