I polled fellow Bucs Fans on whether they would be interested in trading for Peppers and an overwhelming majority said YES!, trade for Julius... and so I made a trade offer to Jaxon over at Cat Scratch Reader, our Carolina Panthers Blog. As evidence by the shameless "Julius Peppers Countdown to Free Agency" in this sites sidebar. The guy had a down year finishing the season with 38 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. At 5.5 Million for '07 I'm sure Panthers fans were looking for more out of The MAN. At any rate, his track record and overall demeanor suggests he'll have a bounce back season. Should the Panthers not extend his contract this off-season, there is no way he won't test Free Agency.
