No Karazhan for Me...
2007-09-07 08:29:00 After finally getting attuned to the popular raid instance, I get turned down at the door... I attempted to run Karazhan with a guild who does it every week. After an "interview" with the raid coordinator, he said that with my 350+ spell damage (yeah, that's low), I could get better gear from normal, (non) heroic instances. However, I could get still enter KZ if there were no "key raiders" online. I waited for 45 minutes outside Karazhan in the heavily contested Deadwind Pass. I got fed up with waiting, so I logged off for a few hours, only to return to find that they were still running it. I asked the raid coordinator if there is still a chance for me to finish it with them. As luck would have it, they were near the last boss. I still had a chance to get in the raid. I waited, and waited, and waited - until they announced the final drops in guild chat. It was all over. I was a bit disappointed, especially since they chose someone with better gear and similar stats than me. To be...

The Road to Karazhan
2007-08-21 03:05:00 I got the third fragment from Arcatraz last night. We also cleared the whole instance. The last boss, Harbinger Skyriss, was fun fighting. I wish I could have taken screenshots or recorded a video of the fight, but my computer's performance is falling apart. Instead, here is a video from the Guild "Abandoned" taking down Skyriss. The fight is similar to ours. In the end of our instance run, nothing good out of there for me dropped. The important thing is that I'm very close to getting keyed for Karazhan. :)

Tempest Keep + Karazhan update
2007-07-07 10:44:00 Last night we went to Tempest Keep and Killed Void Reaver on our second try!Only got 1 random epic (another Nether Vortex) , but the loot from Void Reaver was for once different :)Pauldrons of the Vanquished Defender (Yes, 5th time in 3 kills)Pauldrons of the Vanquished Hero (Woot, Hero stuff, we want more!)Warp-Spring Coil (Second time in 3 kills)Because we were done so early, we went into Karazhan to kill Prince for my T4 head & our mage's Mindblade (after Prince bugged on Thursday by spawning 3 infernals in 5 seconds @ phase 3).Guess what? They BOTH dropped ! Retro Raiding + Karazhan
2007-07-04 11:12:00 Originally we planned to go Magtheridon last night, but it didnt happen.Instead, we went to good old Zul'Gurub with about 12 people (including alts) to get the Polymorph : Turtle for one of our mages.Twas a very fun raid, we had a good laugh, also did the snake boss and raptor boss (mount didnt drop, goddamnit >Afterwards, we went Karazhan to down Illhoof & Nightbane (both first try), to conclude raiding for the week (it all resets today ;) )I have no idea where we are going tonight as i havent logged on World of Warcraft yet, but i'll update this site anyway later today or early tomorrow :)Pengo's World of Warcraft Adventures http://pengoswowadventures.blog-spot.com
Karazhan update from 30-06-2007
2007-07-01 12:45:00 So we unexpectedly did Karazhan last night , in the hope to get my T4 head after 9 weeks .We started by giving Shade of Aran a crack, he went down after second try with only 2 ppl on interrupting (rogue & mage). He dropped 2 crapix (crappy epix) & no enchanting formula.Then we went for Prince, whose infernals just loved to box us in, or he decided to enfeeble + phase 3 at the same time. Same story here, 3 crapix (still no T4 head, for fuck sake).So i ticketed a GM to ask if the helmet could be replaced with one we could actually use (you never know, eh), but i got their #1 macro "Droprate working as intended" - my ass.Anywayz, tonight we're going Tempest Keep again, should be fun ...I might update this site later, tho due to the lack of people actually reading this, i doubt anyone cares.Pengo's World of Warcraft Adventures http://pengoswowadventures.blog-spot.com
