2007-08-30 14:21:00 Urmila Mantondkar will be playing Kamini in remake of Subhash Ghai's film Karz. In original version Kamini role was portrayed by Simi Garewal. Urmila was the first choice of Bhushan Kumar, T series as they wanted someone not too young and not too old. Urmila fits the character very well and he denied that Sushmita Sen was approached for the role earlier. Bhushan said that they had considered Sushmita for if Urmila couldn't make it because of date problems but they never contacted her.
