Kenny Florian vs Din Thomas Fight Results - Video Review Needed
2007-09-20 04:56:00 This fight was an interesting fight… (how descriptive), Kenny seemed to be doing very well on his feet against Din Thomas. Kenny was landing a lot of good kicks as well as punches. Din and Kenny went to the mat a few times and Din did an excellent job staying on top of Kenny and keeping Kenny off of himself. Late in the first round, Din shoots on Kenny, appears to blow out his left knee, and just lays there while Florian gets on tops, throws a series of punches (while Din just takes them without defense) and then loose with a rear naked choke to Florian. We’ll have to review the video, but it looks like Din blew out his left knee on the shoot.

The main card will include Kenny Florian versus Din Thomas. Chris Leben will be fighting Terry Martin (apparently Terry has been trimming down, I remember James Irvin’s Sick Flying Knee Knockout back in 05′ when Terry was a much bigger guy), Nate Diaz from last seasons ultimate fighter will take on Junior Assuncao, Pete Sell with fight Nate Quarry!!, Luke Cummo vs. Edilberto Crocota, Cole Miller vs Leonard Garcia and Joe Veres Vs. Gray Maynard. The cards looked stacked for TUF fans. Can’t wait for this event, followed up with a new season of The Ultimate Fighter. |
