¿David Beckham y Bono escalando el Kilimanjaro?
2008-05-20 09:15:00 En fin, comento esta noticia porque me ha llamado la atención, pero, no puedo asegurar que sea cierta. La fuente es el periódico sensacionalista ingles, The Sun.El futbolista David Beckham podría escalar junto a Bono el Kilimanjaro, el pico más alto de África para recaudar fondos para UNICEF.Según comentan en The Sun: "Fue un poco incierto al principio pero se encontró, al igual que muchos famosos antes que él, que Bono puede ser muy persuasivo. No se ha fijado una fecha todavía porque David está muy ocupada con sus compromisos con los LA Galaxy".La caminata hasta el Kilimanjaro, un pico volcánico en el noreste de Tanzania, duraría seis días.Lo dicho, mira que me extraña que se vayan a hacer trekking Bono y David Beckham, pero siempre es curioso ver las 'noticias' que hacen saltar las revistas o los periódicos para ganar un poco más de dinero. Kilimanjaro Safari Fire at Animal Kingdom
2008-02-12 02:00:00 Quite a day of excitement at Walt Disney's Animal Kingdom on Sunday, as one of the safari trucks caught on fire! According to the Orlando Sentinel, the attraction reopened on time this morning after a truck engine fire closed the ride Sunday afternoon. Yikes! The fire was caused by a damaged engine hose. The visitors were evacuated and one 8-year-old girl reportedly injured a knee while exiting the safari vehicle. Three others were treated for minor injuries at the scene. The fire caused the truck to break down in an area that did not have any animals.
