2007-09-08 00:00:00 QUIT Targa West has honoured Australian motor racing legend Peter Brock with the announcement of a memorial ?King of the Mountain? trophy which has been awarded to the competitors in each class who mastered the tricky mountain stage, summers legal Zig Zag. Run on the locally renowned Zig Zag Scenic route in the Kalamunda Shire the stage, which featured 2.81kms of winding hills and tight corners, was a challenge for even the most seasoned competitors. On top of the honour of receiving an award in memory of one of the greats of the sport, for Challenge Classic recipients Anthony Clarke and Brad Durtanovich, the win carries an even greater significance.
