Praise the music gods!Gameinformer received the scoop straight from Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry's mouth, when he mentioned that bands like The Kinks, Cheap Trick, Mott the Hoople and Joan Jett will also be featured in GH:Aero. These new band announcements, on top of Lenny Kravitz, The White Stripes and Deep Purple all of which Perry confirmed previously, make GH:Aero a more rounded and acceptable purchase. That said, we wonder how gamers' negative sentiment surrounding Activision and how they're handling the GH franchise will play out and how well GH:Aero will sell. 2007-12-28 05:30:00 According to London's Daily Mirror, Ray Davies is putting together a reunion of the original line-up of the Kinks for a tour in 2008. If it happens, it will be the first time the group has played together in almost forty years.Singer/guitarist Davies has supposedly been talking to his brother Dave Davies, Mick Avory and Pete Quaife about touring to support a new box set, Retrospective, which will be out next year. While the members may be willing, they have had their share of problems in the recent past. Ray was mugged while in New Orleans last year while Dave had a stroke in 2004 and Ray has had ongoing kidney problems.According to Davies, "I spoke to Quaife about a month ago and he dearly wants to make another record with me. FedEx Kinko’s CEO Ken May, who comes from the FedEx side of the business, tells Fortune that the merger has been a disappointment. Explains Mr. May: “We were focused on the high-end commercial print business, but that was not a sustainable business model.
