Update on the Kitties...
2008-05-13 16:58:00 Yesterday when I went to the pound to drop off the cats I knew that the bitch probably had Spit already in her trap because she didn't come when I called her. So I told them they would probably be getting a call to come back out there to pick her up. I called them later when I got home, I can't remember why now but they told me that I had left my cat carrier and that yes, she had just called for a pick up. So I asked them to bring me a form for Spit and asked if they would please bring my cat carrier too. Well they didn't come until almost 4 when I was supposed to be on the way to get my son from work, so I had to turn around to go fill out the form and get the cat carrier. Bitch was out there just a smilin' and being so righteous. I pulled right up into her driveway :) to talk to the pound guys and managed to ignore her. They told me that they had already called the "cat lady" to come pick them up. The cat lady lives about 30 miles outside of town on a farm. I'm not sure of he...

We have learned that if my sister's hair is long she needs to keep it in a bun--otherwise it will become a rope ladder for a kitteh.

2008-02-03 10:35:00 If you own a Persian cat, you know what is like if you don't vacuum your floor for one day. Now imagine six Persian cats! lolz... I love my six kitties but I think the vacuum cleaner has different feelings for them and so does my allergies.I would normally just buy a cheap vacuum cleaner off the rack at our local departmental store so that way I won't experience so much heart pain when I need to replace them once a year which which their life span anyway.Recently though I stumbled upon this site which carries the Dyson vacuum cleaner range. This particular model the DC18 Dyson Slim caught my eye because it says this particular model is for allergies sufferer which is exactly what I am. I think it's because of the "HEPA filter with Bactisafe screen". It is also lightweight and does a 360 degrees interactive spin and carries a five years warranty!Awesome, I think this model is a definite consideration the next time I need a vacuum cleaner.Cheerio...

Missing Kitties
2008-01-10 01:18:00 How I miss my kitties. I have left them since last Friday when I was admitted to the hospital for my fibroid removal. I am recovering now at my inlaws and hubby had not allowed me to even visit them on his daily commute back to feed them daily. Sigh... oh well.. I am recovering very well now and if this continues I should be able go back to home sweet home next Monday.. or even earlier..yahooo!!Cheerio...

This past year I had to shell out nearly $500 for the privilige of living in a crime infested ghetto where my street signs proclaim that I reside at the corner of Ass and Ass. No More Kitties
2007-11-15 11:49:00 Unfortunately the last little kitty died too. He died at the vet. (30 Oct 2007) We had taken him there at 3am this morning because he refused his food and was vomiting. He was the last of 3 kittens we had rescued from the freezing cold outside last week. It's been a terribly sad and draining week. You pour your heart and time and love out for these little creatures who depend totally on you for survival and then their little tiny bodies just cannot fight the cold or the illness that attacks them. We tried so hard. The vet kept him all day - in the morning he had shown signs of improvement, he was on a drip (IV?) and had antibiotics and they were keeping him warm, but it seems between the cold he had suffered when his mommy abandoned them, the infection in the eyes they all had, the upset tummy and losing his siblings and mommy maybe it was just too much for a little one like that. He was happy yesterday... he purred almost all day. He spent most of the day cuddled in my hand again...

On the el this morning I saw an entire car full of dejected Penn St. fans headed north to O'Hare. They were inspired by the sight of Wrigley on their way, causing them all to say, "Wait til next year!"
