As much as we like see that no one breaks streets dates, no one can monitor every single moment that a title gets packed up for shipment and when its on its way to the stores," Konami's Dani wrote. "The store could be at fault as well, for letting someone get a copy before the street date." That appears to be the case with Wal-Mart, as the mega-retailer has sold MGS4's 80GB PS3 bundle early on at least two separate occasions, here and here. Konami has delayed the launch of the US Metal Gear Online Beta, originally slated to start on April 21. The group behind Metal Gear Solid 4 apologised for the delay and explained they would be unable to cope with the number of players at the moment, due to unexpected demand.
