Many industry people hailed the decision even though some were against the way Sampat went about securing his rights. The industry reacts: Subhash Ghai: "Though I've no right to comment on this case without knowing the inside story I must say we sometimes mistake an inspired re-worked version of a song or film as our own original work of art without realizing the complications of copyright laws. Sure, KRAZZY 4 remains faithful to the ongoing trend of providing laughs at the oddest of things, but it's more of a masala fare that's reminiscent of the 1980s cinema. Packaged in a modern avatar, of course.A film like KRAZZY 4 is easy on your brains. It rests on a thin plot, but the makers have tried to package the proceedings with entertaining stuff from Scene A to Z. Sometimes it works, at times it doesn't. But the pros outweigh the cons in this case. Also, let's get one thing straight. This isn't path-breaking or ground-breaking cinema by any chance. It's targeted at the aam junta, not connoisseurs of cinema.Also, one of the trump cards… sorry, make it two, are the dance numbers filmed on the two superstars -- SRK and Hrithik. Even the item songs by Rakhi Sawant , Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan fail to pep you up. A minor thump followed by a big thud! BBC: An all out laugh riot revolving around the escapades of four crazy characters! CNN-IBN: Krazzy 4 is one of those comedies that’s not very funny in the first place. Blatantly ripped off from the Michael Keaton-Christopher Lloyd starrer The Dream Team, the plot of Krazzy 4 does inspire maybe three or four genuine laughs, but that’s it, really that’s just it. 2008-04-13 11:11:00 This week two films hit theatres across India and they are ?Krazzy 4? and ?U ME AUR HUM?. Both these films are much hyped by their producers as best films in their category. However, to some extent both films are not up to mark, though Krazzy 4 is having slight edge over U ME AUR HUM because it is more entertaining than U ME AUR HUM. The biggest drawback in U ME AUR Hum is that it is very less entertaining and looks boring at few occasions. Krazzy 4 has some entertainment but this film can be made much better. Overall, it is difficult to tell which is better because both films represent different categories and these films can appeal different people.
