A parte questo credo che la storia abbia riscosso un buon successo tra i più piccoli dato che nei supermercati si trova un saaacco di merchandising, complice l'azzeccato lancio nel periodo pre-scolastico. Insomma la storia è davvero un classicone, tuttavia questo cartone animato si guarda con piacere: ci sono momenti piuttosto divertenti e gli scenari sono ben curati. Diversi i rimandi ai manga giapponesi dallo stile ironico, come nella figura del saggio-mitico-svampito maestro tartaruga.
