His lyrics are sometimes very suspect however. He walks a thin line between gangsta, sci-fi, and conspiracy theorist. Most of the time, his lyrics turn out ill but sometimes they end up just sounding lame.On Black Metal, there are occassions when Bill tries to rap over heavy metal which falls far short of the Non Phixon classic "The C.I.A. Is Still Trying To Kill Me". For the most part, this only strengthens the hype for La Coka Nostra. 2007-05-02 00:20:00 La Coka Nostra is a multi-coastal group (i.e Expensive Taste) consisting of Everlast (now known as Mr. White)& Danny Boy of House of Pain, Slain, Big Left & Ill Bill (Non-Phixion)from Brooklyn. The group is like a maglamation of House of Pain, Lords Of Broooklyn & Cypress Hill but rawer & rougher. I cant front, I was on House of Pain's first album heavy, just for what they brought to the game. They did their own thing, without being contrived & corny. They were just some raw ass white boys, and you didn't look or listen to them any differently. La Coka Nostra is in that same vein. Their approach is just so aggressive & rebellious and speaks to todays street cultured youth, as only Everlast & crew know how to do. If you love hip-hop like I do, you'll know La Coka Nostra is whats' needed in todays bland, uneventful, musical climate!!!
