Ladybug-styled robot to clean restrooms, give travel tips
2007-11-22 12:00:00 Japan's no stranger to a wide variety of service-oriented robots, and it looks like it could soon become home to yet another mechanical being that does our dirty work. The Lady Bird prototype, which is set to hit production sometime in 2009, would scour the floors of public restrooms and keep things looking clean throughout the day. Reportedly, the bot stands about 1-meter in height and is equipped with amenities such as a water tank, brushes and a few other grime-busting tools to boot. Furthermore, it boasts obstacle detection sensors to avoid patrons while on the clock, and it even includes voice recognition software along with access to current traffic information in case someone has the urge to spark up a conversation. There's no word on what this thing will do should someone try to stuff it in their trunk for at-home use, but if all goes well, the creature is expected to sell for around ¥3.5 million ($31,713) when it goes commercial.

Ladybug, from what i understand is beats by The Bug, with a bunch of ever stylish female MCs spitin vocals over the top. The list of members (on top of The Bug) is goes like: Present - Nicolette, Deize Tigrona, Warrior Queen, Ari Up. Future - Nolay, Zeebee, Sista Widey, Michie One, Cobra Killer, Judith Juillerat, Marina La Canillas. Now that's a huge arse list of talent. So far however, there are only 2 tracks out, but they feature my 2 favorite MC's from the bunch, Deize Tigrona and Warrior Queen. You can grab the 12" for a measly 4 pounds over at Soul Jazz records. Can't wait to hear more stuff. (p.s. I picked up the habit of buying the NY Post on the first leg of my commute, mainly for Page Six, I will admit, but I also read the news, and then the New York Times on the second half. To this day, I still read both of those papers online, plus a handful or more other papers.I have to say, in all those years, this is the first time I recall the Post having a news article (I rarely even recall a wine review to be honest) about wine that didn't invole stolen wine.
