Para los amantes de la música creada a base de sintetizadores e instrumentos musicales convencionales, aquí les presento uno de los trabajos más relevantes de los últimos tiempos. Ladytron. Esta banda creada en Liverpool Inglaterra en 1999, presenta música que podría definirse como electroclash, seis sintetizadores en escena junto con guitarras y bateria. Esto parecería indicar que la música es fuerte o estruendosa, pero en este caso es todo lo contrario. La parte vocal esta representada por el poder femenino, y la rítmica de la música es primordialmente bailable. Las piezas musicales incitan a moverse, y la ambientación, un tanto obscura, relata historias difíciles de entender, pero fáciles de imaginar y divagar y hasta coquetear con ellas. Ladytron - Witching Hour (2005)Por fin, el tan esperado tercer disco. Salió hace dos años, por ahí de Octubre. En este material su sonido ya no se aleja tanto como el segundo del primero. Pero sí se nota un crecimiento, por lo que se puede apreciar un electropop más definido, más construido, más planeado.Este sigue siendo mi favorito de los tres(sigo esperando el cuarto) "de estudio" porque tienen un par de compilaciones.Recomendado aunque no lo descarguen/compren, ver este video: Destroy Everything You Touch.Y si quieren algo con más tintes de Rock está este: Sugar. (Además las vocalistas están bien lindas ^^)Ya si les gusta pues ya saben que hacer.

Ladytron - Light & Magic (2002)Segundo disco de este cuarteto británico/inglés de musica electrónica, electropop.No esperen letras muy complicadas o profundas, sólo déjense llevar.Incluye la pegajosa canción "Seventeen"-video aquí, recomendado!, y la cautivante "Evil"-este video tiene más historia, está muy bueno-.Debo decir que en este trabajo se nota una evolución en su sonido, se da un salto desde su disco anterior.Disfruten

Ladytron - 604 (2001)Empezando con la discografía de Ladytron, que ya alguien había pedido cierto disco que también subiré, pero empecemos por el principio.Hacen buen Electropop, aunque este disco no es mi favorito de ellos, lo recomiendo porque tiene buenas rolas, para pasar el rato con tus amigos como música de fondo, o en una reunión, o ponerse a bailar solo cuando nadie más esté en la casa(n.n).

Hey, let us establish, we hate cancelling shows, HATE cancelling shows.We've cancelled about 2 in our whole existence and its normally because of circumstances like this, we've tried hard the last few days to make this happen, nobody is accepting responsibility so we have no choice.The Berlin show at Popkomm was supposed to be a freebie on our part, the band wouldn't be paid, nobody is, its part of the music conference, but the agreement, from the beginning, was that the promoters/organizers would pay all our expenses, flying us over there, hotels, crew etc. Sensible right?Now somewhere down the line someone has started charging 15 euros to the general public for the show, and yet isn't prepared to buy us flights or guarantee our expenses. It's a week away, and no flights are booked.So let's get this straight, we're supposed to fly ourselves and our crew over there, play a headline show in a city the size of Berlin, and have it cost us thousands of euros in flights and expens...
