2008-04-17 03:20:00
Malaysia's Landmarks Bhd., backed by Asia's largest gambling company, hopes to build Indonesia's first legalized casinos in a $3.1 billion resort project to compete with Las Vegas Sands Corp. in Singapore. The ``objective is to develop a new destination for Indonesia,'' Chief Operating Officer Lim Boon Soon said in an interview in Kuala Lumpur. The gaming element ``will accelerate the whole integrated development in Bintan,'' an island in Indonesia, which has the world's largest Muslim population. The planned casinos in Bintan will compete with gaming resorts that Las Vegas Sands and Genting Bhd., Landmarks's biggest shareholder, are racing to build in Singapore, which is a 55-minute ferry ride away. The regulated gambling market in the Asia-Pacific region may expand 16 percent a year to $30.3 billion in 2011, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.Landmarks aims to capture the spillover from Singapore, targeting about 3 million visitors a year to Bintan, eight times more th...

Or, as I like to put it, The Affiliate Toolbox is now officially in the Internet top 100,000. Awwww yeah. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout. Now I just hope I can keep it there ...

Affiliate Toolbox Has Its Best Day Yet
2008-01-30 00:21:00
I won't go nuts over the 215 RSS Subscribers because although it's crazy awesome, I know it fluctuates up and down. But I will say how bad-ass to see ATB growing like it is. It's almost as exciting as top profit days in affiliate marketing -- almost. Yesterday, we had 281 unique visitors to the site ...
What?s New At The Affiliate Toolbox
2008-01-24 01:00:00
Good things are happening lately and that makes it an exciting time to be an affiliate marketer. Aside from all that fluff, however, I have two good bits of news to share. First off, although I know it waivers to and fro, our reader base has jumped up to 200 within the last month! Wow! I ...

Rosendale Cement - A Natural Beginning for the Landmarks of New York City!
2007-11-10 15:00:00
Though the architecture of New York may seem like postmodern chaos trapped in a grid, The City Reliquary's current exhibit spotlights a common thread which connects some of the boroughs most precious monuments. Rosendale Cement - A Natural Beginning for the Landmarks of New York City! features a display of vintage cement bags used to transport Rosendale Natural Cement for the construction of The Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty pedestal, The Natural History Museum, Times Building, Hotel Algonquin, Grand Central Station, and other blockbusters in the five boroughs. Various objects used to mine the cement (including an antique box for dynamite) and photographs of the structures at the time of their completion are also on display. Witness the beautiful and ornate edifices in person with a guided bike tour of the various buildings immediately following a talk by leading Rosendale Natural Cement Historian." Spiritual Landmarks
2007-09-12 15:38:00
- an extract from Pastor Jason's sermon Jesus Restores The Fallen (click to download the full sermon)God sometimes brings us back to the spiritual landmarks of life.I remembered when I was a very young Christian... I was not saved for very long, God gave me a spiritual landmark in my life. And as I journey along my Christian walk, I meet difficulties, I meet temptations, I meet distractions and discouragements, and one thing that helped me keep focus on the direction of my life are the spiritual landmarks He has given to me.I remembered I was in Akha, it's a Northern tribe of Thailand. There I went with the youth group. It was the very first mission trip I had, and I remembered it very, very vividly even up to today. I remembered that God did a deep work in my heart. There high up in the mountains because the Akha people are fearful of waters...the churches are high up there and we went up into the mountains to the churches there. I remembered that night we had a worship service. ...
