Estee Lauder has launched a new website, Sensuous Is, in conjunction with their upcoming launch of the Sensuous fragrance for women. The website features behind-the-scenes material on the four models representing the fragrance (Hilary Rhoda, Carolyn Murphy, Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow), plus a contest offering the winner a chance to attend the fragrance launch in New York City from 7/7 - 7/9 (plus do some shopping and spa-ing). You can also click through to Bloomingdales to pre-order Sensuous. Estee Lauder will launch Sensuous, a new woody amber fragrance for women, this coming July. Karyn Khoury, Estee Lauder's senior vice president of corporate fragrance development, noted: We wanted to reinvent woods for women ? the concept was to create a scent that evoked a molten river of woods. We felt that we had a real opportunity to broaden our reach with this fragrance. Sensuous was developed by perfumer Annie Buzantian, and features notes of ghost lily accord, magnolia, jasmine petals, molten woods, amber, sandalwood, black pepper, juicy mandarin pulp and honey. Estee Lauder is a brand I haven’t used much since leaving Japan, the base exchange only carries a few premium brands and EL was one of them.  When I wasn’t experimenting with Japanese beauty brands, I would buy loads of Estee stuff.  I’ve been using the Projectionist Mascara for five days and really like it.  I totally missed the launch last March so I’m making up for lost time now!  Projectionist defines my lashes and makes them look longer with just a few strokes.   My main lash issue is volume, sadly I didn’t notice much increase in volume while using Projectionist.   The mascara stayed in place, no smudge or clumps which is enought to get a good mark up from me.  An added bonus: The bottle is gorgeous! a really great looking tube. There is an often-told anecdote about Youth Dew. In the 1960s, Estée Lauder visited the Galeries Lafayette in Paris with a proposal for opening a counter there; however, the department store?s buyers were not interested in carrying her products. On her way out, the story goes, Estée not-so-accidentally spilled some Youth Dew bath oil on the store?s carpet.
