With Six Letters, Three Cauldrons Of One Torah
2008-07-20 08:20:00 ?"? ???? ????"?Faunus 19Scribal oddity of two 'n's as found in Torah scroll (shown aove). The Celtic Ogham alphabet of the Druids is called Beth-Luis-Nuin. Through designating the Ogham alphabet beth-luis-nuin, in some manner then, the three letters (beth, luis, nuin) call out the soul of the Ogham into active creative manifestation. In other words, the letters symbolize the three creative rays of Awen, and the creative energy of the Divine Feminine known in kabbalah as hashra'ah.From the perspective of a Jewitch, beth-luis-nuin have correspondences to the Hebrew letters Beit-Lamed-Nun. In Torah, beit-lamed-nun symbolize the soul of Torah.Beit-Beth, with a 'b' sound, is the first letter (???) of the first word 'bereshit' (???????????) in the first book of Torah, Genesis (called in Jewish tradition 'Bereshit'). The six letters of the word 'bereshit' can mean 'with six'.Lamed-Luis, with an 'l' sound, is the last letter (?) in the last word 'Yisrael' (??????????) in the...

What is Love???
2008-06-07 05:08:00 We all have unique experiences of this thing we call love. As such, pinning down a precise definition of the word itself is challenging enough let alone categorizing the sum total of human experience. My own experiences make me a fair way short of being a whore by commonly accepted standards although I am still ...
Reader's letters #1: should we all go back to the iron age?
2008-06-07 01:01:00 We do get emails from time to time, and as far as I'm concerned, whatever mail is received is between you and us unless you state otherwise (and unless you're a particularly juicy specimen of our opponents). So when we were challenged to publish an email we received the other day, it has to be fair game to do so. A gentleman by the name of David Bridge sent this email, so below we'll outline the questions asked (bold) with my response (italics):You appear to be against everything that Glossop wants to progress in modern societyNo one knows what 'Glossop wants' because, as far as we are aware, no one has asked the people of Glossop. Or at least asked in a way that elicits a truthful and considered answer. What Glossop wants, is not the same thing as what High Peak Borough Council wants, nor what David Jones at the Glossop Chronic wants, nor anything that comes out of the mouths of the local bourgeoisie. If progression means the slow strangulation of the High Street and the const...
Do parents wear scarlet letters at work?
2008-06-04 23:09:00 I’ve heard horror stories about professionals who get passed by for promotions because they have children. Or don’t get the big projects or best customers because it’s assumed they can’t put the hours like an employee without children. Or co-workers who scorn parents because they leave on time to get their children from daycare. Have you ...

Beaded Letters
2008-06-02 16:31:00 I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was busy working on the beaded letters for my Boston Citgo sign. Each letter only measures approx. 1.5" - 2" wide, but for some reason they take a long time to bead! I am using 4 different blues - 3 transparent ones and one silver-lined blue. I'm also using several grays and black. Altogether, I counted 11 different types of seed beads! I chose these colours because I want the sign to look dark. Like a neon sign that is not lit. I'm stitching the beads onto felt with backstitch in the same direction of the LED tubing that is on the real Citgo sign in Kenmore Square. Hopefully, when I put everything together (including my beaded Boston trolley) it will all make sense. But, first I have to figure out how to do that. Wish me luck! :D

How To Get Rid Of Bad Information On Your Credit Report By Writing Letters
2008-06-02 16:17:00 Assuming you already have a copy of your annual credit report you may have already found some errors that should be removed. Many graduates think that the six months they have before the required scheduled repayment of their various college debts seems like forever. The six months is nothing compared to the years and years of payments ahead of you. A consolidation of student loans can make the monthly much less painful. Read more about finance and student loans.

Letters to Editor -A Most Terrifying Story
2008-05-30 06:06:00 I would like to tell my families most terrifying story, of abuse and neglect. It is abuse of a good law gone badly, abuse by the very court system that is supposed to be protecting our elderly and disabled. It is an abuse that is going on all over the US. This abuse is happening with the courts of our states approval. The judges and attorneys, and people that are appointed to care for and guard from abuse, are the very ones who are doing the abusing. My mother in-law was taken from the safety of her home kicking and screaming by Adult Protective Services, she was hidden from her husband and family, in ICU and observed for a week. Within 3 to 4 days of taking her, she fell and had to have stitches in her knee, with in a week and a half, she was in a vegetated state, all while in the care of the court and its appointed guardians. You see, she had Alzheimers, I had known her at this time over 25 years, and she had always bruised easily, all her life. We do not know who for sure, called APS...

Letters to Editor - Guardianship Matters
2008-05-27 06:10:00 Guardianship corruption is rampant in this country. Please read the above web sites. The public needs to be informed. They could be next on the hit list! One last comment to the first letter which was submitted concerning a woman's son who was ripping their mother off, then the courts became involved which only compounded the dilemma since the lawyer/guardian was another rip off con artist!I want to warn everyone out there, it is NOT a good idea to get the courts involved in family feuds. You will always come out defeated, and the situation will be much worse than before. People need to work the best way they can within their families to work these situations out.The courts (probate Judges and lawyers, social workers) love cases like this woman. It is a piece of cake to them! The usual plan of attack by the courts is to proclaim the family does not get along, therefore there needs to be a distant "third party" to take control of the disputed persons life affairs. At that time the new...

The State: E-mails, letters show depth of Sanford involvement
2008-05-26 05:47:00 THE STATE NEWSPAPER SHEDS NEW LIGHT ON GOVERNOR’S ‘ACTIVE ROLE’ IN DEVELOPMENT DEALS According to e-mails and letters obtained by The State newspaper under the Freedom of Information Act, Gov. Mark Sanford was “involved heavily” in multiple development deals between the state and contractors — something that critics claim usurps the bidding process laid out by state law — the latest of which was the sale of Port Royal. But if you read The Palmetto Scoop, which broke that story three months ago, you already knew that. The newspaper said the documents showed Sanford personally thanked local residents who wrote letters to the editor supporting his approach to developing the land, looked to help local shrimpers who worried their business will be harmed by development plans, and apologized to a campaign contributor and bidder for the land whose ties to the governor were the subject of news stories. That campaign contributor, as TPS first reported...

Were the Letters of Ignatius Forged?
2008-05-21 06:40:00 As I have mentioned a number of times, Calvin viewed the Ignatian epistles as spurious (for obvious reasons). I have also been in the habit of mentioning that he has since been proven wrong. A reader asked me how certain this really was and pointed to the book "The Ignatian Epistles Entirely Spurious" by W. D. Killen (Presbyterian minister). This book was written in response to Lightfoot whom I was mostly resting in when I said that it was an accepted fact these days that the epistles were genuine. I'm sure Killen's work has been dealt with adequately by others; as far as I can tell, Protestant and Catholic Patrologists alike take the authenticity of the seven Ignatian epistles for granted these days. But for fun, I threw together this quick and sloppy response to his book.In point of fact, the letter of Polycarp, as a genuine production of the second century, occupies an incomparably higher position than the Ignatian Epistles. The internal evidence in its favour is most sat...

Houston Chronicle Letters All in Favor of Photo ID
2008-05-10 18:36:00 The top line of today's Letters to the Editor in the Houston Chronicle reads:All in favor of photo IDs. Adamantly! Tenaciously! Obstinantely! Stupidly! In all four of these letters one can see that here in Dumbutt, Texas not much thinking goes on at or off The Range. On a related story, yesterday a man sitting his chair at a KOA campground suddenly went cold as an AR-15 round slammed into his stomach ending his day and life. Again an AR-15 assault rifle from a loud and often used makeshift gun range bordering on the campground. Good place for a range! Lot's of thought went into that as it was being used for years without anyone thinking to complain.Back to the letters. Though are ofthem are full of what we now call nativism a few paragraphs jumped off the page at me."I'd go a step further . Voters should be given a test to make sure they understand the issues. A small number of informed voters will result in better electoral decisions..." Mike BeckWow hey! Voting Righ...
