2008-04-23 18:56:00 It's a good list. But let's take one category for instance. Publishing: They list 10 entries ranging from Picassa to WordPress. The two problems with this list (and the rest of the categories) is that some are there due to size and first mover status (eg. blogger) and some are missing even though they might have superior flexibility and functionality (eg. typepad or blogEngine dotNet). And with this list of 100, how in the heck is anyone supposed to make a decent evaluation of even one category. I mean you should spend some decent amount of time fiddling with the app. Could be hours or it could be days depending on the use. So you'll end up using the app with a network effect in place or the one that is "coolest" but maybe sub-optimal. Still...good list.

Why not use it to store useful information? Here’s how to keep book and movie lists easily on your iPod: If you haven’t already, get your address book synchronized with iTunes. Connect your iPod to iTunes. On the main page, click the ‘contacts’ tab. Then check the box labeled ‘sync address book contacts’ In Address Book create new contacts called ‘book list’ and ‘movie list’. Add your books and movies in the ‘notes’ section. Sync your iPod and you’re done. To access the lists on your iPod go to ‘extras’ then ‘contacts’. 2008-04-07 04:34:00 SO I am here sitting on my desk making a list of things that I need to get done for the week ans I bugged my DH for a pen because I can only write with certain types of pens, weird I know. But some pens feel better than others and most of them seem to be logo pens. Those are my faves! Anywhoo, I am almost done. Ugh I hate the weekdays.

2008-04-02 11:12:00 I have a friend who mentioned to me a while back that although there are aspects of my personality that she does not like, she likes the way that I relate to cats and what I do for cats in general. Last night we had a chat and I was telling her how I cannot pull myself out of this negativity I feel about my job and for the first time in my life I just CANNOT see the positive. Anyway, to cut a long story short - I woke up this morning and realized that this is one of the aspects of my personality that she more than likely does not like. I am not practicing what I preach with regards to positive thinking. And no matter what my reasons are I need to get my ass in gear and JUST DO IT! So, today is the beginning of my new life. I have decided to stick my job out and see the positive. In this vein, my Gratitude List for today reads as follows: I am grateful that I have a well paying job when many out there do not.
