2010-10-05 08:48:00 I'm distressed by the quick cancellation of ABC's "My Generation" and Fox's "Lone Star" after each show aired only two episodes. Sure, they were low-rated outings, but I don't think any show can attract an audience, let alone a fan base, after two episodes. Both shows were up against stiff competition. Their networks could have tested them in different time periods. In a perfect TV world--and we definitely don't have one at the moment--networks would stay loyal to their shows for at least half a season so they could find that audience. It was the first court verdict in a long-running legal battle between South Korean prosecutors and Lone Star's South Korean operations, which bought Korea Exchange Bank (KEB), the country's No. 6 bank, for $1.2 billion in 2003. Lone Star's Paul Yoo has been standing trial since prosecutors charged him in late 2006 of driving down the stock price of KEB's former credit card unit by spreading rumours to allow KEB to absorb the unit at below-market prices.
