Egyptian Chronicles? Women of the Year #2011 in the Arab world
2012-01-01 15:25:00 Ok I wrote a post about the women that left their mark in Egypt in 2011 and I think we should make one for our ladies of the year in the Arab world , again there is no arrangement in this unorganized list. All the Arab mothers , wives and daughters who lost their husbands and sons in the Arab revolution are on the top of my list. ladies who were killed in the Arab revolutions and who were raped in the Arab revolutions are on the top of my list. 2011-12-25 21:16:00 On December 25th,2010 I began to blog about that thing taking place in Tunisia and on December 25th ,2011 I am watching an interview with the new president of Tunisia on Egyptian TV channel. On December 25th, 2010 I wrote ? Sidi Bou Zid revolt : It is a bias world my dear? I was criticizing how the media , the international and regional media completely ignored this revolt taking place growing in to uprising growing in to a revolution. The demands provide three days for the Tunisian and Algerian governments to release prisoners. U.S. Treasury Designates Leader of Al Qaida in Islamic Maghreb (AQIM)
2007-12-04 19:27:00 The U.S. Treasury today designated Abdelmalek Droukdel (Droukdel), the leader or emir of Al Qaida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) , formerly known as the GSPC. Any assets he might have under U.S. jurisdiction are frozen, and U.S. persons are prohibited from doing business with him. 2007-06-01 22:11:00 La journée maghreb continue ici a Seattle ou il n'est que 2h de l'apres midi :-) ! Le projet du grand maghreb a été souhaité par des générations et des générations de maghrebins. A première vue tout semble facile, les peuples se ressemblent, partagent une langue et une histoire commune. Malheureusement, toutes les tentatives d'union ont échoué et il y'a surement une raison derriere. A mon avis, il est trop facile de blamer les politiciens pour leur inefficacité. Pour moi, il est important d'avoir un regard réaliste sur la situation actuelle de nos pays avant d'envisager tout projet d'union. Sur le plan politique, l'union est un casse tete chinois! A nous 5 on regroupe une Jamahyria ! une sorte de d'etat sans etats dirigé par un guide qui guide un peuple sensé avoir le pouvoir. Une démocratie "militaire" naissante, une monarchie quasi absolue, une ex-démocratie qui regrette de l'avoir été et un pays a parti quasi unique et une liberté sans parole. E...

2007-06-01 02:27:00 Lors de mes débuts dans la blogosphére, il y?avait seulement une dizaine de blogs tunisiens éparpillés sur la toile, j?ai commencer alors à rechercher des affinités a travers le monde, j?ai très vite découvert d?autres blogeurs maghrébins, hchicha, manal, highlander,zizou,houhou?, en lisant leurs blogs respectifs, j?ai découvert les similitudes entre nous, au fait j?ai compris qu on était tous, dans nos sociétés respectives, confrontés aux mêmes problèmes sociaux, économiques, religieux?de plus en plus ces rencontres m?ont permis de mieux connaître ces hommes et ces femmes, qui parlent la même langue que moi, qui ont la même culture que moi, qui mènent les mêmes combats que moi?et pourtant j?ignorai tout d?eux?pire encore j?avais hérité des préjugés non fondés et loin de la réalité. Mon maghreb à moi : colonies de vacances en Tunisie
2007-05-30 23:23:00 Je suis parti pour la première fois en colonie de vacances à l'age de 10ans. Je me rappelle que mon père me proposa de partir pour 15 jours à Gabès. C'etait en 1987 et la décision de partir etait très dure pour moi. Ce n'est pas que j'appréhendais le départ, mais c'etait plutôt le fait que j'allais rater les élections du maire des enfants de la ville de bizerte auxquelles je me présentais. Partir en colo etait abandonner l'aboutissement d'un parcours qui m'a vu gagner les élections dans ma classe, puis celle de l'école de rue de Constantine.Je me rappelle bien de ce dilemne ! C'etait la première décision que j'ai pris par moi même ! Après moultes hésitations ! J'ai décidé d'abandonner mon projet et de partir à l'aventure à Gabès.On était une centaine d'enfants de tous les horizons.
