Leerlingen doen voor Edukans verslag in Malawi
2009-02-23 12:25:00 Ieke Schout uit Zwolle is op dit moment met zo’n vijftig andere leerlingen van middelbare scholen in Malawi. Dat is het land waar dit jaar het project Going Global van de stichting Edukans naartoe is. De stichting maakt zich sterk voor onderwijs in ontwikkelingslanden en zet daarvoor allerlei projecten op. Met Going Global krijgen Nederlandse jongeren de kans om die projecten te bezoeken en er verslag van te doen. Ieke Schout is de enige leerling uit Overijssel die mee is. 2009-02-16 12:47:00 Zo’n vijftig leerlingen van middelbare scholen in Nederland staan op het punt om naar Malawi te vertrekken. Ze doen mee aan het project Going Global van de stichting Edukans. De stichting zet zich in voor onderwijs in ontwikkelingslanden en organiseert al tien jaar lang elk jaar een reis voor leerlingen van scholen in Nederland die zich inzetten voor Edukans. De leerlingen bezoeken in Malawi onderwijsprojecten en leeftijdsgenoten en doen daar verslag van. Dit jaar doet er maar één leerling uit Overijssel mee: Ieke Schout uit Zwolle.
