2008-03-06 10:40:00 ART IN PUBLIC SPACES: POST PHILIPPINE ART FESTIVALThe National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) invites everyone to the "Art in Public Spaces: Post Philippine Art Festival," a week-long arts and culture event opening at 10 AM on Friday, March 8, 2008 at the SM Mall of Asia. Featuring websining installations, fine art photography exhibitions, multimedia performances and lectures by renowned artists, the Festival has something for everyone, be they students, enthusiasts, professionals or practicing artists.Scheduled activities at the Festival kick off with a lecture on digital art by veteran artist Jose Tence Ruiz on March 8 at 3PM. Ruiz is an exhibiting artist whose work has been featured in several international venues such as the Havana Biennale, the Singapore Biennale, the Asia-Pacific Triennale, and University of Hawaii Art Gallery. Savory Mall of Asia
2007-10-05 17:14:00 Last Thursday, I had fun dining at Savory in Mall of Asia. Everything was so yummeh! I heard from fellows that Savory was an old restaurant in Manila, somewhere in Quiapo. Now they opened a branch in a more organized and a bit posh location which is Mall of Asia.You'll be surprised with the taste and price! Delicious Chinese cuisine without service charge and with VAT included already in the prices haha : ) it was so good that no food was left during this shot. Chicken is their specialty but we chose to get daoming pork (reminds me of F4), garlic spinach (surprisingly yummy), and spicy squid (boyfriend's favorite).I also got to meet scooby doo and friends before having dinner. The wind was restless that day and gave us a hard time getting a clear photo.I can't believe how time flies! It's Friday again. weekend could be better if not for my dental appointment tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the morning. bummer.

Filipinos will not survive without SM malls hehe well thats a fact. anyway Mall Of Asia being the largest in the Philippines boost a lot of attraction and features. it has 600 shops and 150 dining establishments,Olympic Sized Ice Skating Rinks,IMAX Theater,5,000 parking spaces, and esplanade was constructed at the back of the mall for a nice view of the famous manila bay sunset.whew there are really a lot to do in this mall and because it is so huge the management decided to provide shopper a 20-seater tram traveling around the mall grounds to ferry shoppers around. somehow malls very unique feature. but just when you thought its over. i just want you to know that this super mall... |
