2008-05-11 00:46:00 Foothills Flooring Inc based in Castle Rock Colorado, recently completed the hardwood floor renovation in the Phipps Mansion, located in the Belcaro Neighborhood of Greater Denver.Built between 1931 and 1933, the 33,123 square foot Georgian style mansion is truly a magnificent piece of local history. Our work was in Phipps pavilion, recently renovated by The Denver Junior Symphony Guild. The Guild brought on Foothills Flooring Inc as the hardwood flooring experts for this historic renovation project.With great success we had the privilege of refinishing and staining the original 1932 pine hardwood floors in the great room. This was a challenging task because the last time the floors were cared for was sometime in the early 60's! Nevertheless, the final results turned out fantastic.We also refurbished the Parkay Red Oak floors in the Gallery.
