2008-05-24 20:46:00 !!!!!FOR STUD!!!!! lil man is a 5yr. old tri colored bay paint. he was VERY easy to train and break in. i put all of my friends on him when they want a calm horse to ride, and even use him for lessons. i started showing him at three in halter, western pleasure and english pleasure. he has a very nice, smooth jog. i just started reining with him about 6 months ago and he was slidding 18ft. with no slidders and he is slidding 25-30ft. with slidders. he has a very tight rollback and awesome circles and lead changes. he has never had a professional trainer on his back. i have also recenly started trick training and doing hunters with him in the show ring. he has jumped 4ft. with a tuck up to his chest. e-mail me for more info at hellohunny431@yahoo.com

Pissy Mares
2008-04-28 15:35:00 These girls need to get layed! OMG! Especially Kola. This heat cycle has to be one of the worst I've seen. Still they could be more non compliant. Kola refused her Metamucil today. I added a little corn oil, hoping to disguise it and she said no way. So I'll have to get a bit more creative, maybe some apple sauce. Then it was an argument over the halter as I wanted their halters on because Jeremiah coming this morning to trim them. Misty was fine, but Kola was a turd! She is very irritated with Misty and me, but she eventually falls in line when I persist and don't go away. I will always win! On top of it all, which I don't think helps is the damned weather changes. It was so warm last week, then it stormed the weekend and now the temperature has dropped to the 30's and 40's. They will get their Innovator5 today and they'll get wormed as well. Then in about 3 weeks, they'll get their coggins drawn and a West Nile vac. I hope this heat cycle ends soon. My daughter takes her to the beach, camping, play days, barrel racing, pony club(everyone rides her) and on two day trail rides. Sadly my daughter has out grown her. She is very sound and sweet. Must go to good home. A must have for a little person.

She has never been bred because we have not wanted to stop using her as a riding horse. April is a very well mannered horse and is not spooky at all. She has been trail ridden all over. She has been ridden in team penning and ranch sorting she is a natural at it. She really seemed to enjoy working the cattle. I have taken her around barrels and she has the potential to be a very good barrel horse with more training. April has the speed and agility to be a good all around performance horse. Anyone who knows the basics could handle her just fine. She has never offered to buck, rear or take off. She has good ground manners and has no bad habits such as kicking, biting, etc. These pictures don't do April justice. She is even more beautiful in person.
