2008-01-17 23:23:00 As the search for Corporal Cesar Armando Laurean widens to Mexico, police authorities say Laurean's wife knew about the death of pregnant Marine Maria Lauterbach. Police have issued an arrest warrant for Laurean on murder charges for Lauterbach's death. He is also being sought on a federal warrant charging him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.Police detectives said the wife of Corporal Cesar Armando Laurean admitted to knowing about the death of Maria Lauterbach the day before he fled from authorities. Christina Laurean, who is also a Marine, told police that Lauterbach had come to the couple's home on December 15th demanding money, according to court documents released on Thursday.According to his wife, Laurean accompanied Lauterbach to purchase a bus ticket for her to El Paso, TX. 2008-01-15 18:22:00 An update on the case of murdered Marine Lcpl Maria Lauterbach:From CNN.comLauterbach had accused Laurean of raping her. She had a protective order against Laurean, but it expired September 24, military records show.In the military protective order, Laurean was forbidden from contacting Lauterbach in any manner, including through a third party, and ordered to stay at least 1,000 feet from her.The order also showed Lauterbach and Laurean worked in the same unit at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Ok the Marine Corps did issue a protective order against him but it should have been in place until the Marines investigation was over, or was it over at that time? Also, if it was still ongoing, they were still stationed together. He was still a threat to her.Somebody out there knows where this bastard is....I hope he fries for what he did.
