The past single 'How Far We've Come' was a hit single, but it was a quick hit. The new single 'These Hard Times' is a decent song and should do moderately well. I wish they would have amazing songs like they did years ago, but one can only wish. Hopefully on another album in the future. Rob Thomas and his former Matchbox Twenty bandmates are working on material for a fourth album, but refuse to be locked into a specific release date. The new album would be the group’s first studio set since 2002’s More Than You Think You Are and since founding member Adam Gaynor left the band. Thomas explains, "We’ve been talking about doing some Matchbox stuff. The guys in the band are writing. "We’ve been around over 10 years and we’ve been gone now for a couple of years, so we don’t have any reason to do it until we’ve really got something we stand behind and we love.
