Alesha and Matt win Strictly Come Dancing
2007-12-23 00:06:00 Alesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler have been crowned as this year's winners of Strictly Come Dancing, beating furry Matt Di Angelo and his professional dance partner, Flavia Cacace, into second place.Both couples provided a spectacular final showdown to the Strictly Come Dancing contest with Alesha displaying her aptitude for embracing both latin and ballroom styles, and Matt did not shy away from revealing his furry chest and treasure trail for us all to see, and displaying his muscles in an acrobatic show-dance...lovely. The entertainment continued with an understated performance from the Spice Girls...which, surprisingly, wasn't bad. Well, let's break this down: Strictly Come Dancing is a Saturday night campfest with sequins and feathers; it's a contest with judges whose bitchy parlance can rival any gay queen; Tess Daly's frocks are to die for and it has professional ballroom dancers (Matthew Cutler) whose tight trousers and nipple revealing shirts distract the eye somewhat. 2007-10-07 15:20:00 Saturday night TV camp returned to BBC1 with the new season of Strictly Come Dancing starting last night.
