Me And You And Everyone We Know
2007-07-27 18:57:00 As you watch a young woman, black short hair and a bright pink striped T-shirt, talk into a micropohone you realise this isn't your usual indie comedy/drama. Different and yet simple and recognizable, Me And You And Everyone We Know really is about you and me and everyone we know. Showing a handful of different characters that in some way all are connected to each other, but not in a way the characters in Crash were, but way more subtle, director Miranda July has made a beautiful collage of regular people struggling with divorce, growing up, love and so much more. Beginning with Christine, the woman in the pink T-shirt, your sucked into her imagination and her way of thinking. Being a bit quirky and looking exteremly sweet, like a young puppy dog, she looks as if she could just have walked out of a romance novel. Played by director Miranda July herself, Christine is looking for affection and when she has found her special someone she falls hard for him. That special someone is Rich...
Celebrities Are People Like Me And You
2007-06-19 14:17:00 A video showing that celebrities without make-up are not as glmorous as you might thought They say that you have to love someone for his soul and not by the way he looks.... Hmm sometimes we forget this line and just go for the looks... it's so easy to say that you love someone for what she is or the way she thinks, when you actually like her breasts, ass, legs, and that gorgeous lips of her that you can hardly wait to kiss - same goes for girls no matter if they never admit it, but it's true! Have you ever seen a girl that wakes up in the morning, tired after a rough night, maybe a drinking night, without any make up and without having her hair arranged like you always seen her? If not take a look at what is coming!... Oh yeah.. Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Pamela Anderson, Madonna, Kate Moss, Eva Longoria, Jessica Simpson, Tyra Banks, Catherine Zeta Jones, Victoria Beckham they all look very nasty when th...

Lobo - Me And You And A Dog Named Boo (1972)
2007-04-17 20:04:00 Best remembered for soft-rock perennials like "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo" and "I'd Love You to Want Me," Lobo was the alias of singer/songwriter Roland Kent LaVoie, born July 31, 1943 in Tallahassee, FL. At 17 he joined the Rumors, whose ranks also included future luminaries like country-rock pioneer Gram Parsons, country-pop cut-up Jim Stafford, and noted drummer Jon Corneal. From there LaVoie attended the University of South Florida, joining the Sugar Beats and making his recorded debut on their 1964 single "What Am I Doing Here?" Although the group proved short-lived, it inaugurated a lengthy collaboration between LaVoie and bandmate Phil Gernhard, who would later produce all of Lobo's hits; together they also helmed the Jim Stafford favorites "Spiders & Snakes" and "Wildwood Weed." Stints in the Little-Known Uglies and Me & the Other Guys followed before LaVoie issued his debut solo single, "Happy Days in New York City," in 1969. Two years later, he recorded "Me and You a...
