Ford also announced that it is accelerating the move to small cars by stating that a total of 6 small vehicles form Europe would be manufactured in the Americas for our market. Only 3 of the vehicles were named: Fiesta, Focus, and Transit and these three had already all been announced. Two of the remaining three will probably be crossovers, and the third is speculated to be the Mondeo. However, the Mondeo overlaps with the Fusion - so how Ford will work this out remains to be seen. An updated Fusion will also come out next year, with enhanced engines and a hybrid powerplant for the first time. Heavy showers lashed most parts of Chandigarh in the afternoon after a dust storm. The maximum here settled at 38.8 degrees Celsius, the Meteorological Department said here. In Haryana, Karnal received light showers and the maximum dropped to 34.8 degrees Celsius, five below normal. Ambala had a high of 37.3 C, down three degrees while Hisar registered a high of 38.3 C, also three below normal. Bhiwani recorded a maximum of 35 C. Sirsa, Kalka, Rohtak and Panchkula in the State also received showers. In Punjab, Patiala got few showers and the high there settled at 38.2 C, down two degrees.
