2008-04-06 19:57:00 Country singer Merle Haggard turns 71 today. I had the pleasure of seeing him open for Bob Dylan in 2005, and he was a blast to watch. I wasn't too familiar with his music before that, but I knew who he was. Since then I've gotten into his music quite a bit and find him to be one of the greats in country music, and vastly underrated. Here is the show I was at, it's obviously hard to convey the enjoyment of the show without actually being there, but I think it's still a lot of fun to listen to.
