Where?s the Podcast?
2008-06-05 03:07:00
Andrew Min sent me a tweet the other day wanting to know what happened to the podcast. I have not done a podcast in a while and I’ll tell you why. Each podcast is about a three hour investment of my time, minimum. It takes about two hours to gather the show prep, and another hour to do the podcast. Lately, I have had qite a few other obligations that have taken priority over the podcast. I can only offer my apologies and ask you to understand. I enjoy doing the podcast, but my kids will only play tee-ball once. Thanks for understanding. Blogroll Work
2008-05-31 12:55:00
I made some substantial additions to the blogroll last night. Right now they are all under “General Blogroll.” This is something I have been meaning to do for a while now, but it isn’t really interesting at all to do. It is really quite boring. But, it needed to be done. If you own one of the blogs I linked to and found All American Blogger via the trackback, welcome! Take a look around, check out the archives and maybe link back to us. I’ll be back this afternoon to play a little catch-up. No Podcast Tonight
2008-04-08 01:15:00
I have something I need to take care of tonight, so I won’t be able to podcast. But be sure to tune Wednesday, as I will be hosting along with Ahab of Call Me Ahab. We’ll be talking about the Second Amendment and each of the candidates as it pertains to the right to bear arms. It?s the little things that matter

I went to each presidential candidate’s website today, researching where they stood on a subject I plan on covering this next week. I noticed something else. On each site, only John McCain took the time to say “Happy Easter.” I like that. Thank you, Sen. and Mrs. McCain. Happy Easter to you. And Happy Easter to all our readers. ShareThis

A Quick Note About the Shared Feed Reader
2008-03-12 22:16:00
There are some days, like today, when I am not able to post anything until late in the afternoon. It’s just the way it is some days. But what I do have time for is updating the Shared Feed. Before I left for work today, I added 10 new stories to the feed. So, while I didn’t get a chance to write anything today, there was at least ten new articles on the site. That is usually the case. I just don’t want you all to think there wasn’t anything new, just because I had not posted anything. The Shared Feed is usually updated first thing in the morning. ShareThis
I Have Started Stumbling More These Days
2008-03-03 19:00:00
I started a StumbleUpon account back in 2006, but have spent most of my time on Newsvine (go click on some stories). Recently, I started Stumbling and am really liking the website. Although my account is almost two years old, I am new to the site and could use some “friends.” Here’s my page if you want to add me to your friend list. ShareThis

What Do You Think of Our Shared News Feed?
2008-02-10 20:55:00
My friends over at A Newt One turned me on to Google Reader’s Shared News Feed. I use Netvibes for my RSS feeds (and I am always looking to trade tabs and feeds, if you want to), so I exported my feeds to Google Reader and added the widget to the right sidebar. I think it looks pretty good, and adds another way to get news to you. I’ll probably add ten or so new stories to that feed each day, in addition to what I write about in the main section. I hope to use this to highlight blog posts, but you never know what you will find there. So, do you like it, or did you not even notice it until I mentioned it? What do you think? ShareThis

I am coming up on one year of posting, but am quickly running out of steam. Lately, I have been debating retiring SparkBugg, but will continue, albeit with less frequent postings, for now. I am still grateful to have any readers at all. Thank you. * *

I just spent all day yesterday traveling to Charlotte, NC, to meet the folks at Enventys and Bouncing Brain, and my fellow inventors, for Season 2 of Everyday Edisons. That is why I hadn’t posted in a couple of days. I also plan to share more details about my travels in my neglected ...

For $15 a year and some self-taught basic HTML and CSS skills, Wordpress allows me to tweak the look of the site. I wanted to make the font more legible, hyperlinks more obvious, and change the color scheme. Hopefully, soon, I will design a better header. Being creative is fun! * *

The following few posts (or preceding few, depending on how you read blogs) contain some content of questionable taste.
