Therefore this track as a special tribute, in memory of.Somehow, time has not accorded Eddie Cochran quite the same respect as other early rockabilly pioneers like Buddy Holly, or even Ricky Nelson or Gene Vincent. This is partially attributable to his very brief lifespan as a star: he only had a couple of big hits before dying in a car crash during a British tour in 1960. He was in the same league as the best rockabilly stars, though, with a brash, fat guitar sound that helped lay the groundwork for the power chord. Intel releaseing a UMPC competitor??? Did i miss something?
2007-04-16 12:20:00 Has wintel completely disappeared from sight? I mean really what the hells going on, first AMD is adopting vista early and Intel is holding off till service pack 1. Now Intel is announcing they are releasing a Linux Based Mobile Internet Device. Though its slightly targeted differently instead of targeting IT Professionals, Intel plans to target the Prosumer market. From the interface it looks like its not really setup from the getgo to be a "PC" it's more a mobile device, like the one that nokia released a few years ago that was like a super mini tablet. According to the specs, it will come in a variety of SKU's with it sporting between a 4.5" and a 6" screen, with resolutions of 800x480 to 1024x600 and will be showcasing the new Intel Stealey class of Duo chips, that are apparently ultra battery saving.
