2009-05-03 04:24:00 Film del 1927 di Fritz Lang, e' uno dei capolavori del cinema muto tedesco e, in generale, del cinema dei primi anni del secolo. Il film, diviso in tre parti come un opera lirica, "Prologo", "Intermezzo" e "Furioso", porta in scena in un ipotetico 2026 (cento anni dopo l'uscita del film) un mondo in cui le divisioni di classe sono sempre piu' accentuate, con i ricchi arroccati nei loro sfavillanti grattaceli e i poveri reclusi in un "sottoborgo" sporco, sovraffollato e inquinato. Il film mi ha ricordato da vicino Blade Runner, soprattutto nella lotta "padre" e "figlio" (qui davvero genitore e figlio) e nell'uso dell'androide come strumento di controllo della massa.
