The Kansas City T-Bones probably made a wise decision in deciding not to have a ‘Welcome to the Neighborhood’ promotional night at the park for Michael Vick that they had already been promoting.  MV7 is serving his 23-month prison sentence in nearby Leavenworth, Kansas. The Kansas City T-Bones of the Northern League had planned to have a Michael Vick “Welcome to the Neighborhood” night May 28, complete with prison uniforms, spotlights and escape sirens. Vick actually got a longer sentence than his two co-defendants because the judge deemed that he lied about his involvement with the whole thing. Basically, with good behavior, Vick should be released in 18 months or the summer of 2009. That means dude will be 29 when he's released.
