Well CNET had a crack at testing it and came up with some really interesting views. So shall we see what the test revealed shall we? According to the guts over at CNET their early tests of Windows Vista SP1 apparently and many thinking about all the performance enhancements to be had are mostly driver related. What this means is if you have been updated all along you will not see much in the way of an improvement on performance, and the worse thing of all is things like copying files to USB 2.0 hard drives which have gotten around 50 percent slower. The tests revealed that a speed hit overshadows the other file system improvements in Windows SP1, so what does this all mean though?
