Man sees "mark of the beast," cuts off and microwaves hand
2008-01-11 14:54:00
A man who believed he bore the "mark of the beast" amputated one of his hands, put it in a microwave and summoned authorities, Kootenai County sheriff's deputies say. The man, in his mid-20s, was calm when deputies arrived at his home in this north Idaho town Saturday afternoon, and neither he nor the severed hand bore any noticeable tattoo or other mark, sheriff's Capt. Ben Wolfinger. The man, whose name was withheld, was in protective custody in the mental health unit of Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, where he and the hand were taken by ambulance. Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Johnson would not say whether an attempt was made to reattach the hand, citing patient confidentiality restrictions.

Microwaves and Satan
2008-01-10 01:48:00
Hayden, ID — A young man suffering from demonic possession - along with bearing the mark of Satan - used a circular saw to sever the blasphemous limb from his own body. Once the unorthodox exorcism had taken place, he then took his severed hand, cooking it in a microwave on full power.

Do microwaves “nuke” the nutrients in food? [denialism blog]
2007-08-08 08:29:00
No. However, there is never a shortage of crankery from Mike Adams who asserts Microwave ovens destroy the nutritional value of your food. There may be too much idiocy here to address but let’s get started. The rise of widespread nutritional deficiencies in the western world correlates almost perfectly with the introduction of the microwave oven. This is no coincidence. Microwave ovens heat food through a process of creating molecular friction, but this same molecular friction quickly destroys the delicate molecules of vitamins and phytonutrients (plant medicines) naturally found in foods. One study showed that microwaving vegetables destroys up to 97% of the nutritional content (vitamins and other plant-based nutrients that prevent disease, boost immune function and enhance health). What is is about any mention of radiation that makes people lose their minds? By the first paragraph the stupid is burning my eyes. Read the rest of this post… | Read the comments on ...
Microwaves are evil

My friend has been on a "health quest"she's been eating only organic and teaching me aboutall the chemicals people consume on a daily basis..then she brought to my attention the hazards ofmicrowaves & how they kill all the nutrients in foodI'm never using a microwave again!check it out..Ten Reasons to Throw out your Microwave Oven From the conclusions of the Swiss, Russian and German scientific clinical studies, we can no longer ignore the microwave oven sitting in our kitchens. Based on this research, we will conclude this article with the following:1). Continually eating food processed from a microwave oven causeslong term -permanent - brain damage by "shorting out" electrical impulsesin the brain [de-polarizing or de-magnetizing the brain tissue].2). The human body cannot metabolize [break down] the unknown by-productscreated in microwaved food.3). Male and female hormone production is shut down and/or altered bycontinually...

What Everyone Should Know About Commercial Microwaves
1969-12-31 19:00:00
Microwave ovens as we have come to know them today first became popular around about the 1970’s, and they revolutionised the way food was cooked and reheated for ever. The first ever microwave oven in 1953 was five feet high and was patented by an American engineer called Percy Spencer who had made his discovery by accident, he was working with a radar system that used a magnetron to send out radiowaves when a chocolate bar he had in his pocket simply melted rather too quickly. He went on to develop his idea further and hey presto. A normal oven cooks a lot slower by cooking the outside first whereas a microwave oven cooks the food from the inside first and cooks through to the outside afterwards. I shall try to explain the many facets of microwaves including how they work and why they work. Using radiowaves is a much quicker method of cooking as it vibrates water, fat and sugar molecules together causing heat to build up and it is this action that actually cooks your food. M...

Micro is a unit for measurement of length. As the name suggests microwaves are the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum where the wavelength falls between about one millimeter and thirty centimeters that is micrometers.
