Camp Good Days and Special Times is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life threatening challenges. Camp Good Days facilitates residential camping experiences at their recreational facility in Branchport, New York and year-round support activities. All proceeds collected from these auctions will be donated to the charity and will be used to support the many programs and services offered. 2007-01-19 12:52:00 Michael Stephen Portnoy (born April 20, 1967) is an American drummer primarily known for his work with the progressive metal band Dream Theater. Known for his advanced drum skills, Portnoy has won 21 awards from the Modern Drummer magazine. He has co-produced the last four Dream Theater albums, starting from Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory. He was the youngest person (at 37 years of age) to be inducted into Rock Drummer Hall of Fame.Pre-Dream Theater historyMike Portnoy was born and raised in Long Beach, New York, on Long Island.
