2008-08-30 07:00:00 Yesterday I bought this nice USB key (Sandisk Cruzer Micro 8 GB) at a cheap price (around 28 ?): I also saw there?s now the 16 GB version available and I?m a big fan of Sandisk products (so I guess I?ll need one of those in the near future.. ). This USB key is fast, reliable and not that big as many keys you can find around. After open the box I realized that this is not a common key: it uses a technology called U3. With the U3 technology you can install the software in the key and use it as if it was installed in your machine. You can also download additional portable software That?s great, I mean, for people who need this. But frankly, I was in need of a USB Flash Drive for data storage and/or Windows Ready Boost. So, I tried to format it but I couldn?t ! All you need to do is to download the U3 Launchpad Removal Tool, plug the key, launch the application and it?s done!
