2007-11-30 13:08:00 Do you remember back in April this year, when Mimoco unveiled a series of Mimobots (USB drives like those pictured) which resembled popular characters from Star Wars like Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Stormtrooper and R2-D2? Indeed they were very popular and were completely sold out soon after they were released (especially the Darth Vader!). Now Mimoco has ...

Yeah! :) more starwars mimobots
2007-11-28 11:01:00 It's exciting to see the new mimoco drives with some new Star Wars characters... but... I've got a bone to pick with their designers. AND I'M NOT EVEN A STAR WARS FAN... sure I like Ep 4, 5, 6, and I was happy to overlook the little original mimobot ears on R2 (I actually thought Vader and Trooper looked cute with ear nubs)... BUT WHAT'S WITH HAN? AND NO GREEDO BLASTER? (ok maybe I'm geeking out)...I like the Leia character redesign. The LUKE is cool - with the removable helmet (what was his Xwing number?). But Han looks more like one of the Beatles than the pilot of the fastest ship in the fleet.BUTBUTBUTMimoco makes up for shortcomings of Han by creating an awesome Boba!Lift the helmet to see what this bounty hunter looks like:Luke has a similar reveal....You can see Luke, Leia, poppa Vader and the rest of the Star Wars Mimobots at the mimoco labs. Here are the HALO mimobots and the rest too:Mimobots on NINJACRAYON

mimobot MASTER CHIEF
2007-10-19 21:17:00 hahahaha... Just in time for E FOR ALL and the release of the newest version of Halo.. the mimobot MASTER CHIEF is now available. At E FOR ALL in Los Angeles, I spotted their booth - - I love them because of the rockin' little Star Wars and Happy Tree Friends drives they pimp out. But when I saw the little Master Chief drives, I knew that Christmas shopping for at least 5 of my friends is done!If Master Chief isn't your style, you can get a SPARTAN FIGURE in red or in blue.I had previously recommended the Star Wars drives for Father's Day presents. I know a few dads who got them as gifts as a result. Although the 4G version will cost you a whopping $110 you can get a little 1G for about $50.
